Different from a child's point of view, once they are of an age to understand these things, whether they were adopted, the product of rape or an orgy, or actually wanted by thoughtful parents. Respect your father and mother. That sort of thing.

Even though it's true, I don't follow what the relevance for this issue. For the veil perspective, the reasons that people are dealt the hands they get is not important.

Relevance is that individuals can be lucky much more than families can. Which means that when you compare family outcomes and you ask to "fix" them through redistribution, the luck rationale is much weaker
