I don t disagree about the lack of originality of Harari but the question was about reach / influence. Cant think of anyone who sold nearly as much books AND is publicly endorsed by the likes of Obama Merkel, Macron. Lagarde, Gate, Zuck etc...
) Harari but what I read was not intellectually novel. A little sleeper book by Lee Cronk, meanwhile, had me thinking about things differently. G Miller and Pinker: lots of new thoughts. Peterson is a seriously original intellect.Yes, but in my experience, anyone who gets praised by many famous politicians who are concerned about PR issues tends to say things that do not deviate from the Overton window. I'll give him a closer look though....
