No, because they've just gotten feedback that as deep-state media they're covered for libel. Fact-checking was never relevant when the goal was to win political points at any cost. They knew what they were doing.

If I'm not mistaken ol Glenn here was the champion of accuracy in journalism that analyzed the height of big macs to verify Trumps claim that he had enough to reach the moon. Wapo is a clown paper anyone verifying other peoples "facts" is gunna be pure farce.
