Does "free range" or "certified humane" mean anything when it comes to chickens and their eggs or is that just a marketing ploy to ease the guilt of consumers?

'Free range' means very little. 'Pasture-raised' might mean more. Any egg that costs less than 40 cents was probably laid by a very unhappy hen.

Although, the closer the world gets to a vegan diet the better. No cows being created and stored for slaughter. That would have a huge impact on our resources! Instead of feeding animals and using so much water, give that to the people or use for crops. Could end world hunger.

On the scale of relatively simple lifestyle changes, 2% is not small, e.g., buying an efficient car instead of a guzzler. 2% is also not the figure for a single simple lifestyle change, but 4%. It's assumed that vegetarians will spend the money they save on other consumer goods.pic.twitter.com/J0xpqsYy9S
