Of course not, but the idea that a minimum wage increase can be helpful under monopsony conditions and that these conditions can exist outside of monopsony had moved my thinking about MW.
Why not fight the monopsony directly instead of just trying to manage its side effects?

Why not do both? If you're sick you don't not treat the pain just because it won't fix the underlying problem. You do both.
