Perhaps I don’t know enough about systems but should this consider present day (vs historical) racist systems that “other people” and everyone participate and benefit from that influence voting (gerrymandering, redlining, criminal justice to name just a few)

Dem overreach on this topic is granted, but why is the onus strictly on Dems and not on our racist president whose constantly stirring up his base with racist dog whistles? I think the majority of Dems would be happy to talk about healthcare 99% of the time...
