I don't think Jeselnik is "dangerous" in that way. His comedy is shocking, gruesome, but it is not political, in my opinion. He can joke about killing babies, but at the end of the bit nobody (without a chip on their shoulder) thinks he wishes for the death of babies—for example.

It's not meant to challenge your perspective on, say, killing babies; he's not making a point. It's meant to shock a laugh out of you with the edge. It is purely fantastical, therefore "safe".

The tides turned to favor Jeselnik. The contrast of him and every other comedian has grown, yet he's honed his act for over 15 years. I think he's the best in the game right now.

Maybe.
@anthonyjeselnik can always say he's playing a character. Truly dangerous & subversive comedians are reviled by enough people as to become largely marginalized. I'm thinking of the Owen Benjamins & Milos of the world.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Agree with you, also add Bill Burr. Cool thread here.

I was going to say
@anthonyjeselnik also, but he had a nice writeup in the@TheRinger_RSS and appeared on@BillSimmons pod. Neither try to rock the boat too much. This would be my main evidence countering this claim.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
