I can't tell if popular music is getting worse or I'm getting older.
The talented young people who would have become musicians in the 80s have launched their own YouTube channels today. So, music is worse. But YouTube is better.

What do you base this on? What genre of music? Jazz and hip-hop are evolving at a rapid pace. Seems a rather bold statement on your behalf.
