This is a great idea. The partisan system we have established makes it often feel like we are choosing between the lesser of two evils. It also discourages people from voting at all when their preferred candidate is not polling well.

So much agreement here. Would be interesting to estimate the effect this would have had on previous elections. I would guess it favours Democrats and third parties over Republicans

Plurality voting is terrible, but whyyy do political types pushing to replace it all push for that complex turkey IRV instead of approval voting or score voting?

Fuck. Yes. I’m struggling to see how Andrew Yang could be a more perfect candidate at this point.

Definitely a decent bet for a much-needed third pole in American politics. But I'm leaning more towards Tulsi now.

Rank choice voting often results in candidates who received much less than a majority of the vote being elected - not good.
