If you think nationalism, socialism, and religion are all ridiculous, finding political movements that are both admirable and successful is very hard... even if you scour the world.
Classical liberalism / libertarianism is both laudable and successful, right?

not without religion in large nations. Religion scales the trust needed for Classical Liberalism and libertarianism to thrive.

Libertarianism has been around for a long time and I don't see a ratchet left. No candidate describing themselves as libertarian ran as a Democrat in my lifetime...
