Any plausible explanation for this split personality phenomenon? I worry that his ideas are not properly scrutinized because his online persona, in effect, keeps him below acadenic threshold...
Taleb’s ‘arrogance’ and persona on twitter is very effective in bringing attention to those he calls BS or charlatan. Note, his tawk is not cheap, and is nearly always back up by statistical evidence or reasoning, compared with those he ‘attacks’ for all to see.
