I worked in a restaurant during college. Tens of millions of Americans have worked in restaurants and bars. It's totally standard, and it's idiotic for anyone to mock people who have.

I’m working in a restaurant for the 41st year of doing so. I’ve worked with and employed plenty of marginally intelligent and barely competent people. Most any of them could be in elected office if sponsored by the right organization.
