I think we drifted a little from the original point, That being- a significant number of men won’t listen to a woman’s ideas unless she’s attractive (Dalai Lama’s sentiments). I objected, and have more faith in men in general. Hope I’m right

My experience is that men may be attracted to beautiful women, but tend to take them *less* seriously -- especially in a professional setting.

Being taken seriously is the definition of power. The logic of the tweet therefore recommends we take *no* men seriously.

That's easy for me lol having power and money means nothing to me. We grew up with it, around it, still live near it. The closer you get to who other people see as special the more quickly you realize they aren't. Nobody deserves a pedestal

I think he conflated two very different issues. People with power have more exposure because their success facilitates larger platforms and isolation from the masses. If we all listed the most intellectual women we know, it won't be a list of supermodels.
