I'm repulsed when I hear the question asked if politician X,Y, or Z can be trusted with the nuclear codes! What kind of sick culture commits a trillion dollars to upgrading a "weapon system" that can KILL EVERYTHING in minutes? It's undeniable proof that lunatics are in charge.

While acknowledging nuclear war's threat, flexibility in avoiding it's required. Putin's Russia's a dangerous aggressor that attacked the US. Aggressors aren't mollified with paens for peace. Deterence kept peace by pragmatically apealing to existential fear. Update MAD.

I’m so glad people like her, @AndrewYang, and @marwilliamson are running this year to open the eyes of our citizens.

If anything the risk is increasing as nuclear tech filters down to basket-case states and even non-state actors. Stay away from the cities.
