Wish you had an abridged version! ;-) I'm a bit too tired now to continue. It begins well. I'll get back to it when I'm fresh.

Good stuff, I liked your sound argument of Carl and Candide, makes alot of sense how entertaining views where favoured by sexual selection. Guilty myself afterall. Dankie

Very interesting, esp that sexual selection shaped consciousness. But the idea that this solves the philosophical problem of consciousness is vitiated by failure to dist natural and logical possibility and conflating the issue with the separate sceptical problem of other minds.
-
The two defects are connected: even dualists like Chalmers don’t think zombies are naturally possible—natural law guarantees that “objective” and “subjective” consciousness go together—only logically possible, so no sceptical prob of other minds, hence no need for zombie divorce.

G&Z had this discussion with Terence and Kat McKenna in 1985. It's a fun hypothesis.

Cannot Imagine a woman (even a zombie) having 12 orgasms in a night. I am not in your league.
-
Only 12? That would be a poor all-nighter indeed, in my experience.
