In all seriousness (no Arby's jokes), do you believe we still need virtue signaling? (Even in its more adaptive variants). I find myself divided on these kinds of evolutionary carryovers.

Yes, I think it's still necessary and good on balance. I just prefer the

A lot of modern virtue signaling is actually vice signaling: anti-white , anti-male , anti-Christian , anti-western.

Seems to me the usual complaint being made when a behaviour is disparagingly called "virtue signalling" is that the behaviour is purported to signal virtue but is actually just as easy to do without really being virtuous - that is, it's a bad signal. Am I wrong?
