Isn't it odd that humans (mostly) are opposite of other species in that our females are the most "flashy?" Of course, this is mostly in apparel, not body characteristics. Or am I just influenced by western culture?

I talk a lot about this in my 'Spent' book. Male humans ornament themselves with little things like yachts and jets.

These are cool. I have seen some around the bay area rivers / ponds around feb-march, when most of the migrating birds stop here for a break.
