Why do we have foreign military bases at all? Why soldiers deployed abroad?

We have foreign military bases because we have very close very good friends who exist under existential threat, like South Korea and Taiwan, or countries who would have every reason to turn militarist without out presence, Japan. Europe is self explanatory.

Simple th. Exper. If you have no global american military presence, you suddenly have an increased British, German, French, Japanese, Russian, and Chinese presence. In other words, 1910 with more Chinese bases. The solution is to have us dominate, but be accountable. Not retrench
