I'm not sure that anger would be that useful under fire in a hostile territory. It would certainly cloud judgement and impair strategic and tactical decision making. The results would be Darwinian though...
I've never been in combat, so I don't know. I just imagine that being under mortar fire would piss me off.

It would me if I were conscripted, but as a volunteer, I'd have to lump it or learn to like it.
