I had someone argue that Jordan was faking it and because he has many co authored papers he isn't doing any work when he himself admits he lets students take authorship. But from a prof standpoint is there a way your peers look at credentials and judge your input ?

Have watched most of Peterson's pre-fame classroom lectures. Dude delivered under the fluorescents in front of 40 kids with exactly the passion and drive he uses in front of 5,000 today. Several million downloads of those lectures have definitely boosted UT's stock.
