That's selective breeding by humans though isn't it? We know that works fast. Different from just evolution.

As Darwin argued, there's a lot of overlap between natural selection, sexual selection, and artificial selection. All can work very fast.

So this series of mutations would of happened prior to our knowledge, then once it became visible we selectively breaded ones with the most dominant trait? Would it of started with one individual as mutations are exceptionally rare?
