Being a "private" university is blurred by the fact that it is supported by millions of taxpayer dollars.
Harvard is a private university; if it wants to admit only students who conform to certain political views, that's its prerogative. (Like private Bible colleges should be free to only admit Christians.) But it should have the integrity & honesty to say so up front. It didn't.

False equivalence. Harvard admits plenty of Conservatives, just not ones who spout the n-word incessantly. People need to accept that our society has decided that discrimination on certain bases is wrong and accept that challenging this hard-fought consensus has consequences.
