did you read the 'and/or misery' part?
How do people decide if they're sexually compatible enough for marriage, if they can't have sex before marriage? Wouldn't that increase the chance of divorce and/or misery?

Talk openly about sexual compatibility before marriage (values, beliefs and attitudes about sex, preferences, likes/dislikes, libido, frequency, etc). After marriage, improve the quality of sex through practice and open communication.

Nope, my husband and I stayed pure until marriage. We've been married 20 years and we've decided to stay married, even when thing are difficult. What increases the chance of divorce is people not staying married.
