Again, I'm not saying there's NO legit evo psych, but most of the time when I hear about it, it's people spouting implausible "explanations" for why few Western women study physics or why girls' clothing is pink.
Maybe your version of it isn't BS, but if I hear one more time about how girls like pink more than boys (a modern phenomen!) because of berries (which generally aren't pink???)...Sounds like you're not reading actual ev psych papers, but just hostile media misrepresentations. Try looking at journals like EHB from @HumBehEvoSoc
