Only the most hardcore are all "Legalize recreational nukes & open all borders". Most of us want a very robust 2nd AM and a liberal visa and green card system. Most of the open borders and nuke crowd say that for effect.

In discussions I always say that in philosophic terms I’m all in libertarian for everything, but when that principle is applied to reality it has to go through a reality filter, and then it’s never so clear. But you got to maintain a clear north through the filter.
