According to twins studies between one-third and one-half of political alignment is linked to genetics; that is most of us are born somewhat wired to be liberal or conservative. If this is the case we need to build bridges as much as possible. It’s not just info or culture.
You might be the first major political candidate in history to take behavior genetics seriously. That's good, because it's one of the few areas of behavioral science where results replicate, and it can be really helpful in guiding realistic policies.

Maybe he takes it seriously, but that didn't stop him from repeating the stock "IQ tests only measure your ability to take IQ tests" answer when asked. He may appreciate behavioral genetics, but he lacks the courage to stand behind its most replicable area (re: intelligence).

Heritability is a shaky measure that depends on the environment and should not be applied indiscriminately, especially to complex cultural traits whose *very definition* can change, ideology itself is a fluid and cultural phenomenon which depends on where the Overton window is
