Restrictions on so-called 'hate speech' ARE the main restrictions on free speech. Always have been. If young people don't understand that, they don't understand free speech.

You may be creating a hostile work environment if it’s to a colleague. If you use that language to random people in public and not in a threatening way I think that would be protected. This is from govt action, private entities can react as they please in most cases.
