I always thought 'Executive Function' was closer to the Big 5's Conscientiousness rather than IQ? I know some very high IQ individuals who will forget to turn in papers, show up late, etc. To me that means they have poor executive functionality

If it’s a euphemism, how would one accommodate existence of gifted students with executive function deficits? One could call them 2e, but many students have high IQs but need targeted training for becoming proficient in the skills encompassed by EF. Not making claim against study
