I think it should be replaced with something that values more than someone’s productivity or worth to the employment market. People forget that there is more to life than just test scores. Schools obviously need to be better as well from start to finish and involve parents more.
The more you 'involve parents', the more parental privilege and wealth will matter.

I mean as far as more communication between parents, students, and teachers. Not just a parent teacher conference. It’s a lot bigger of an issue than boiling it down to just SAT scores. Also hard to really have a full conversation with 280 character limit.
