It aged perfectly. Dany is becoming the perfect example of social justice: her sense of mission overrides real justice as she thinks she’s the living ideal of justice. All SJ warriors see themselves as heroes overthrowing the patriarchy not seeing they’ve became the villains.

Interestingly, most Social Justice Warriors that I see are middle and upper-class kids and young adults 'rebelling'. But as Orwell warned, revolutionaries from the middle tend to co-opt the grievances (no pun intended) of the low to replace the high with themselves.

I don't understand the people going, 'all of that buildup just to turn Dany into a mad queen' I've been saying that since the beginning for both the show and book. The book foreshadows that Daenerys will need killed by a new hero, her turning was always coming and hinted heavily

The book yes, the show not so much. The fuck up has happened due to the show trying to implement the ending discussed with GRRM, without foreshadowing that for 7 seasons.
