College administrators are the world's biggest cowards. They constantly appease every stupid & misguided student protest, like parents who spoil their children by never saying no out of fear of making the kids angry. Punishing a law professor for acting as a lawyer is repellent.
Sooner or later, college administrators realize they're partly in the public relations business, but they don't seem to get any actual training in how to handle PR issues. It's not just cowardice, but also ignorance about how to do a crucial part of their job.
