I don't see why mutual mate selection would influence brain volume any more than one-sided (male) mate selection. Theories for your theory?

My book 'The mating mind' explains the reasoning. If one-sided selection favored brain size & intelligence, only one sex would evolve larger brain size & higher intelligence.
