Mate choice for moral virtues drove most of human moral evolution for thousands of generations. (Or so I've argued for 20 years).
Any given #SexStrike by either sex might be misguided, but the general strategy has been remarkably effective.

I say if it makes a person happier to take such action for their moral values, then they should go for it. None of us are entitled to sex, and no one needs to justify not giving it. And everyone should be honest about what their moral values are. They shouldn’t lie to get sex.
