I’d rather read random fortune cookies than Heidegger. And they are probably more enlightening.
Early Heidegger ('Being and Time' ) is much harder and less intelligible than later ('Poetry language thought'). FWIW.

I’ve read Being and Time, but more than 20 years ago probably. I tried the later work, but I found it equally unenlightening. It’s of course possible that I’m missing something.
