What are some good "red flag" questions to ask someone on a first/second date?

Nobody I know with a successful marriage talks to their exes, and neither should anyone seeking a successful marriage. It's damaging to future relationships by breaking down trust and presenting easy avenues for big mistakes. Talking to exes on a regular basis is a huge red flag

I agree for the most part. It’s really context dependent, but it’s crazy to say that NOT talking to any exes is a red flag.

Near-gleeful stories about how crazy an ex is might be the most efficient red flag there is.

Wait, run if they are *not* in touch with any exes? I need details on this lol, this sounds good

The reverse of this just happened to my good friend: he began dating a girl, found out she was still in contact with her most recent ex, he mentioned how this made him uncomfortable, and she broke up with him in response to this.

I see what you mean but I would recommend never mentioning ex’s until the deal is closed.

Point taken, but while you're running away, it may be worth pondering why that person was attracted to you...
