A competent dragon queen would fly her dragons at a cruising altitude beyond the reach of projectile weapons. Then only fly at an attack attitude once the terrain has been scouted.

I’m more triggered by the g-forces on joints. I mislanded doing a box jump onces and felt my hip pop, but she’s able to withstand those jarring forces. No way. Starting to think this show isn’t realistic.

A competent dragon queen wouldn’t face the Iron Fleet at sea or during the day in the first place

A competent dragon queen would have competent writers who weren't working backwards from what the broader plot demanded so they could quickly finish the show and move on with their lives. Tyrion & Littlefinger are/were incompetent for similar reasons :)
