You could store all the nuclear waste safely in a concrete bunker the size of a trailer park. Do your research, mate.
Or we could turn 1/50,000th of North Dakota into a nuclear power farm, for a fraction of the cost and equally low carbon emissions.

The whole idea is insane. 1st the cost to build. Massive solar farm in the middle of nowhere. 2nd, the transmission losses to anywhere that would actually use the energy would be enormous

Nuclear is a semi-efficient method of boiling water to make steam to mechanically turn a turbine. The US has massive geothermal resources just below the surface. Just think Nuclear process could be made more efficient. Therefore less secondary nuclear waste.
