Well house is cold at times but quite scathing and barb laden at others. Definitely top notch but he has emotions that betray his own rationality.

Why not kind and competent, and cold and focused in the right situations? I mean of course there are archetypes, bur there should be an ideal goal to aim.

agree i want that doctor for myself, but do not want that doctor for my child, even though i am effectively the person the doctor is communicating with. had a very bad ER experience where a top doc's personality was so cold we left realizing we didn't have all the info we needed.
