I think my reputation as a "bad libertarian" is undeserved tbh. I have libertarian views on foreign policy, sex work, marijuana, CJR & more.
I just don't want to abolish all government, legalize heroin, or completely open the border.

I'd rather have pragmatic libertarianism for a hundred generations than purist libertarianism for one generation.

This is not a 'gotcha' but pragmatic libertarianism just sounds like another way of saying neoliberalism

Definitely not. Libertarians can understand the potential for market failure and be open to practical policies to address genuine market failure. It's the faux market failure and purported govt cures where we sound neoliberal on policy.

Hm. I don't know. I feel like most libertarians do want to abolish everything, but are always happy to compromise so long as it moves in an ideal direction.
