I have just learned that the mob has been successful in getting social scientist Noah Carl fired from his position at Cambridge. The statement from St. Edmund's apologises for the "hurt" caused by his appointment. General intelligence is the best-established, most reliable, most predictive, & most heritable trait in all of the behavioral sciences. Isn't it interesting that young researchers are systematically deterred from studying it, & their careers are wrecked if they do?

They aren't systematically deterred, though. Plenty of researchers study general intelligence. The specific associations with general intelligence that Carl was studying led to his dismissal.

There are fewer than 500 active intelligence researchers in the world, and fewer than 250 usually attend the International Society for Intelligence Research annual conferences. By contrast, there are tens of thousands of social psychologists. The deterrence is very effective.

The knowledge gained by the objective study of general intelligence is useful and morally neutral. The fact that SJW's see it as problematic says more about their own capacity for prejudice and projection than it does about anyone else's.

Excuse me, but in case you missed the memo, what these leftists and liberals doing to every student and professor for wrongthink is straight out from the Cultural Revolution in the 1960s all the way to the 1970s. We both know how it ended.

For the sort genuinely interested in understanding the human condition, what's more appealing than a chance to bring science to topics like "intelligence" or "gender"? WIMPS NEED NOT APPLY...unfortunately, your curiosity, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn won't be enough.

Lmaooo. More knowledge is never a bad thing. You seem to be projecting your own barbarity onto everyone else: "I hate unintelligent people and want them dead, so if race and intelligence are correlated then genocide will be necessary." I honestly think this is what you think.
