Clearly the leadership think Cambridge's reputation is actually terrible and this is how one rescues a failing institution. All just a matter of the right perspective.

They're not thinking in terms of marketplace reputation. It's a religious act of atonement according to the principles of Cultural Marxism. The West is an oppressor and must repent.

It improves their reputation. They’re pursuing truth, evidence, and scientific inquiry. It shows leadership.

Any large long-lived institution hss doubtless laundered much dirty money. Want to now dig up how much drug, mafia or Nazi $$$ has gone through Cambridge? Why not let the dead past rest?! Cambridge has likely educated scores of slave descendents. Enough Already!!
