That’s the point: if it’s a localized catastrophe, it’s horrible. But it’s not a risk to the existence of humans as a whole.

It is a hard difference to learn when all of the financial interests line up around not learning. I wonder if the skew suburban, and hysteria over climate change has made the DNC start to poll worse psychologically, in terms of making decisions based on fear.
