The foreshadowing was always there, especially with the last interaction with Melisandre. In the scene, I think the best part (that I missed the first time and only caught the 2nd time) was the White Walker's hair subtly swinging forward as she silently ran by.

I caught that too. Still a bit mysterious how she managed it. Always suspected she'd be the one to destroy the NK.
