Believing that Trump is a grave danger for your country (and for democracy) isn‘t partisan. Most ppl (I think including
@EdKrassen ) would happily vote for a Republican alternative too if they could. -
What *is* partisan is voting for a presidential candidate no matter how much one thinks they are beyond the pale, just because of one's party affiliation.

I know a number of smart people who would make this pledge or vote “straight ticket”. It’s difficult to understand how a mature person with a realistic understanding of human beings could surrender their reason this way...to me it indicates a kind of delusion, power of ideology.
