Hawthorne effect in play you will act differently when cameras are on. International students record me to rewatch especially for technical lectures. It send chills down my spine as I was also on reality TV and know how sentences can be taken out of context. 1/2

My solution is taking the slides and voicing over the top of them. It is labour intensive task but it allows me to interact with the crowd and ask "controversial" questions like "what is beauty" in a design course centered around aesthetic values https://youtu.be/yxrHiIZ_Rn4 2/2

Do you see the same problem with the real peer review account? It could be argued that it can have the same effect on academic freedom that you are arguing the act of recording professors has on education.

Maybe you are making a distinction with content that is course-relevant & evidence-based. I agree that would be a key distinction, but I also think there is probably a lot of biased content being teached by people who think their bias is evidence-based and course-relevant.
