Mixed feelings about covert recording of professors. I say some edgy stuff in my human sexuality class that partisans on both sides would find offensive. Do we want to impose a chilling effect on classroom teaching from fear of comments going viral?
BTW, the point of twitter polls is not to gather unbiased scientific data. The point is to provoke thought and discussion, and to give people a sense of what other people are thinking.

If you are willing to say it in a classroom, why would you not be willing to have it be in public? For context, I will admit the question comes from a guy with a wife that says he lacks a filter/social awareness.
