When the word toxic is readily applied to masculinity (the force that builds and protects civilization)...when any civilizational pride is labelled "alt-Right" and "White supremacy".... No wonder then, that this is what is the reaction to Notre Dame tragedy. The West is dead.

So if the Hagia Sophia also went up in flames would that also be liberating? I'm sorry both of these structures have a lot to teach us about not only religious meaning but also the capability of humankind. We still draw inspiration from these in our secular designs.
