This article isn't very good, but the criticisms have missed the point too. Jeffrey Sachs has listed a bunch of "if water is good, how does drowning fit in" type of jokes, but the core issue here is people are talking about different things.

White nationalism is not good or bad because it is identity politics, it is bad because it advocates for white supremacy and hierarchies of human worth, an those who can access a particular location (broadly, "America") and is thus illiberal and unethical.
