My inner libertarian agrees with you, but I haven't seen much written about a right to anonymity in free speech. Any pointers would be welcome.

I also favor free speech. I wonder what the literature says on the relationship btw rights and responsibilities/obligations. Specifically, do rights entail obligations (suggesting a form of contractualism)? If so, does the free speech right entail obligation to identify oneself?
