Same. But I made sure to do solo a ride through glacier national park first, figured increasing my risk of a bear mauling somehow justified the lessened risk of a wreck

Sorry, but that's a nonsensical misapplication of statistics. SV650 is a great bike, BTW! Did a 1000 mile day on mine back in the day. Motorcycling isn't so much dangerous as it is unforgiving.
