Loved my Suzuki SV650. But @sentientist reminded me that every hour you ride a motorcycle takes four hours off your expected life span.....So I sold it.

Same. But I made sure to do solo a ride through glacier national park first, figured increasing my risk of a bear mauling somehow justified the lessened risk of a wreck

I wrecked my bike years ago, and got a class 3 separation in my shoulder. Someday I'll ride again, once my wife is tired of me.

Sorry, but that's a nonsensical misapplication of statistics. SV650 is a great bike, BTW! Did a 1000 mile day on mine back in the day. Motorcycling isn't so much dangerous as it is unforgiving.
